EIS Overtime Bonus Program OVERVIEW: EIS recognizes that while our team members are all salaried professionals, it is the nature of our projects to occasionally ask for commitments of time above and beyond what would be considered normal. In such cases, our goal is to reward our employees for making the extra effort. The EIS Overtime Bonus Program is our way of formalizing that commitment. PARTICIPATION: 1) As part of each month's payroll process, accumulated hours for the PREVIOUS month will be tallied. As an example, when preparing payroll for March to be paid on April 1st, hours will be tallied for the month of February. Hours included in this tally are all billable hours plus non-billable hours coded to the project codes of HOLIDAY and VACATION. 2) Any employee whose accumulated hours are greater than the number of weekdays in the month in question times 8, will be paid a bonus equal to the number of excess hours times an hourly rate based on the individual's salary. 3) An individual's rate will be determined by taking his or her monthly salary amount divided by 180 and rounded to the nearest dollar. 4) This bonus amount will be paid as a separate line item on an employee's monthly paycheck under the "Bonus" heading and will be taxed accordingly. 5) These bonus payments will not be included in any calculations or other benefits based on an employee's total salary such as life insurance or disability coverage. ELIGIBILITY: All full-time employees are eligible to participate in this program after their first full month of employment. Employees whose employment terminates for any reason are not eligible for this bonus.
