All of the wireless services are based on a lightweight hand-held PDA device which scans trade show attendee badges and instantly identifies the attendee and captures their personal information. The unit itself is based on commonly available Ipaq hardware from Compaq plus a standard Ipaq sled expansion units for barcode scanning, wireless communication and non-volatile memory. All wireless systems are secure and have real time access to the registration database and allow for real time attendance reporting. These systems are simple to administer, simple to operate and quick and easy set up in the end reducing costs.
