Founded in 1994, Enterprise Information Solutions (EIS) is a systems integration and computer engineering services firm with a unique combination of skills and perspective on how best to bring those skills to market. The founding members all have a background with large international consulting firms working in the frontline trenches delivering systems. They set out to build an organization focused on delivering application systems without all the trappings and distractions found in the traditional corporate world.

Our Mission:

Internally, EIS is extremely focused on technology. This is exemplified in the fact that each and every member of our firm holds a degree in Computer Science or other closely related technical area. We are committed to the use of Open Systems and Open Source technologies and from this it follows that we are not resellers of any product or service and therefore have no predisposition to use a particular vendor or brand name device. Thus our solutions are based on what is optimal for addressing the needs of our customers and not on the specific products we are incented to resell.

Externally, while it is technology that drives us as individuals and project teams, we also realize that to our clients it is not about the technology. It is about results and that comes from understanding the goals and challenges they face in running their operations. Only with this perspectivce can we hope to address their current and future needs through innovative uses of technology. Thus we have chosen to present ourselves and our capabilities to the world at large through a series of industry focused practices. Evolved from our expreience with specific projects, these practices include: Transportation, Insurance and Hospitality plus our "PureTech" Practice for those situations that come down to simply our ability to bring technology to bear in completely unique situations.

From this unique combination of technical and business focus has come pre-developed facilities, standards and other functionality which provide immediate value and serve to jump start our projects. This saves valuable time defining the general approach and code common to many information systems. Collectively, we call these "Solution Sets". Thus we offer the best of both worlds: custom solutions that can fit a business's exact needs but which come largely pre-developed and proven thus reducing both the risks and costs associated with standard custom development work.
