FedEx Custom Critical Document Imaging & Workflow
http://customcritical.fedex.com/us/default.shtml

Like most transportation companies, FedEx Custom Critical is forced to deal with large volumes of paperwork. In Custom Critical's case, these documents had a direct effect on the processing within many departments including Billing, Driver Pay and Collections as well as being valuable in simply providing the best overall customer service to their clients when they called. This project consolidated the handling of paperwork into a uniform process where, upon receipt, documents were immediately scanned after which point all processing took place either automatically or based exclusively from electronic images available at Service Agents' desktops and eventually available to customers directly from the web.
