The Transportation industry presents one of the most challenging environments in which to deploy technology. With its combination of mobile users, heavy reliance on exchanging information with customers, partners and other third parties and a strong requirement for real-time data interaction, this is an area that pushes technology to its limits. It is also an industry that already requires sizable capital investments and it would be desirable to find technologies that didn't push capital needs even higher.
